20th c. Oceanic Triple Mask Canoe Prow Shield

Large triple mask probably from the Upper Sepik River, Papau New Guinea, Oceania. Carved heavy single wood plank. The mask is adorned with shell eyes, fiber and polychrome paint. In very good overall condition. Dimensions: 29"H x 52"L x 6"D. Weighs approximately 28 pounds.
