Offered is this antique porcelain china flow blue plate, made by W H Grindley in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England in the "Blue Rose" pattern. The plate has a scalloped edge with beading trimmed in gold. There are also gold leaves and flowers in the blue band as well as gold trim on the center rose. The back mark indicates the plate was made some time between 1891 and 1914. There is also an impressed "50" mark.
The plate is approx. 8 7/8" across. It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks on the front. There are a couple of small indents on the back, probably made by a plate holder, some wear to the gold and some brown crazing lines in the white area, as shown.
