    Description

    DESCRIPTION:
    Offered here is an antique silver spade bit with snake designs in the shanks. The spade is an old hand forged bit with a copper roller and copper on the mouth piece. The "snake" silver inlay and appears to be sterling but it was not tested. This is a good looking old bit from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

    Unmarked.
    APPROX AGE:
    Late 1800s to early 1900s.
    SIZE: It has a  4-1/2 inch mouth piece and is  7.5 inches long overall.
    CONDITION: Pretty good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
