    Antique Vintage Palembei Village Sepik River Carved Bird Shell Eyes New Guinea
    Acquired in Cairns, Queensland Australia in November 1987.  Brought back by a missionary who acquired a few items.  Believed to be about 50 years old.  Cracks occurred on arriving to the US from the humid jungle of New Guinea.  No additional cracking in the last 33 Years.  Rare.
