    Description

This is a new bridle dated 1952 and signed by CheChilly Tsosie--it has beautiful hand engraved sterling silver conchos on it--the leather is a medium golden brown with black background --it measures standard horse size and can be adjusted from 40--44 in.  there are silver slotted conchos up by brow band 2-5/8 in. wide
the ones where bit connects are 2-1/4 in. x 1-1/2 in.--silver conchos on reins and a silver buckle on the top headstall adjustment as well as the chin strap--reins are split and 6 ft. long---this is a beautifully done work of art bridle--69 yrs. old
I did not find a lot of information on Mr. Tsosie but I think he was a Navajo silversmith and came from a family of artists-you will look a long time to find a bridle with this much silver, beautiful tooled leather work, and new condition
    thanks for looking........
