    Description

    MUSE 2 Brain Sensing Headband, Meditation, Black, Very Good Condition.
    The Muse 2 headband detects your brainwaves during focused meditation and provides feedback via a free Android or iOS app. Using this feedback, you can train you brain. Useful for meditation, reducing stress, calming the mind, checking into brainwave and more.. In addition to the brainwaves, the unit detects the heart rate and the movement of the body. This information is used to provide feedback to the user. Data is transmitted from the headband to a smart phone via blue tooth. The manufacture's specified battery life is 5 hours and is charged via a Micro USB cable, provided (but not the AC plug-in unit).
    A free app is available for Android 8 and IOS 12.2 or higher. Also, available from the manufacturer, at an extra cost, is a "premium subscription" that has over 500 guided meditations and content from over 20 meditation teachers.
    This headband was purchased in September 2019, to replace the first Muse headband (released 1) I purchased. It has been very lightly used since November 2020 when I acquired a Muse S. Note that the Muse 2 headband offered for sale here will be shipped in a Muse 1 package as I did not keep the Muse 2 box. The S/N of the unit provided here is 4008 QEPJ 49B5 and is different than that listed on the box. It is the more recent model of the two.
