One fresh roll of Tesa 4288 Polypropylene Tubeless Rim Tape.
This tape is
19 mm
(3/4") wide and has a length of 60 yards.

From the German company that gave us the "Tesa-ROM", a multilayered optical data storage medium made from their standard consumer crystal clear adhesive tape*. Let's just assume all their tapes share this incredible DNA.
This polypropylene tape works great as both, tubeless rim tape and normal rim tape for use with tubes. It has great adhesive strength and removes without leaving sticky residues as well.
The
Tesa 4288
is 114 μm/4.5 mil thick while Stan's, Tesa 4289 and 3M 8896 tapes are 144 μm/5.7 mil thick. The Tesa 4288 is superior for tubeless application as the slightly thinner tape is
more elastic
and
conforms
much
better
to the rim surface than the thicker tapes.
Industry Nine
uses this tape as well.
As a
rule of thumb
use a tape that is 2 mm wider than the internal width of the rim you are planning to seal for tubeless applications. Depending on the rim design like hooked, hookless or the depth of the bead channel and also how hard you pull (
Pull hard!
) this rule has some flexibility. The
30 mm wide version
we recommend for rims with an internal width between ∼ 28 and 25 mm, the
25 mm wide version
for rims with an internal width between ∼ 23 and 21 mm and the
19 mm
wide version
for an internal rim width between ∼ 18-16 mm. The 60 yards roll will give you easily enough tape for about
12 double-wrapped
wheels
