Stunning Swan Design
On the obverse is the coat of arms of Palau, an island nation in the South Pacific. Neptune sits on the ocean floor holding his trident. On either side of him are an open treasure chest and a mermaid. Above the shield on which they appear is a man rowing a canoe.
The reverse features an elegantly detailed swan against a deep royal blue. The swan is shown from the side with its head arching down. A tree branch, which is also gold, extends from the upper left, complementing the appearance of the swan floating by a shore.
