    Papua New Guinea Mask/Shield 20th Century Feathers Conus Cowrie Shells Fiber
    A Papua New Guinea woven mask decorated with paint, bast, cassowary feathers, cowrie, conus, boar tusks and other shells including nut shells.  From mid 20th Century.   It's about about 31" x 15" including feathers and bast.  The woven portion is about 15" x 12".   Signs of age and wear:  Some loss of nut shells to right earrings.  Cracks to the tusks. Possibly other age/wear issues.
