Description
******* PRICE is 9 ****** These are game-worn skates of Phoenix Coyotes star forward Shane Doan from the 2006-07 NHL season. They are CCM Vector 10.0 skates as Doan also used Vector sticks, gloves and helmets that season, which was the team's 10th in Arizona and the players wore special Decade in the Desert patches on their game jerseys. These skates also have Doan's #19 on the back of the boots. They show good overall use as "Doaner" liked to stick with one pair of skates for the entire season. They are size 9 EE/B which is a very wide boot as normal sized feet are a "DA" width. There are stickers on both undersoles that have Doan's full name, size of the skates and the manufacturer's code. The left skate has a plastic lift put in by the team equipment as they did on all of Doan's skates as his left leg is one inch shorter that his right. The DRY Ultima insoles are intact inside each boot and the extra-long laces are all original with good use. Shane had 27 goals and 28 assists in the 2006-07 season. He retired afterthe 2016-17 NHL season, which was his 21st with the Coyotes and 13th as captain. The Coyotes retired his #19 on Feb. 24, 2019. Doan is the Jets/Coyotes franchise leader in games played (1,540), goals (402), assists (570), power-play goals (128), game-winning goals (69) and was a two-time NHL All-Star (2004 and 2009) and winner of the King Clancy Memorial Trophy (2010) and Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award (2012). These skates were obtained directly from the Coyotes in 2008.
Great item for any "Doaner" fan.
