PNG Massim Trobriand Islands Canoe Splashboard. Excellent condition. Carved from a single piece of wood and natural pigments used to color. Measures 32”H x 30”W and is 2” at the thickest point. Collected in the 1970’s while living in Papua New Guinea and shipped to the US. The crate that this was in has not been opened since 1978. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
