    Description

    This is a display-shelf ready lantern from the Illinois Central Railroad.  Made by The Adams & Westlake Company.  Original tinning intact over all of the frame;  the spring-loaded globe holder and fuel pot show very little use.  Has some surface wear on the bottom half of the fuel pot and the bottom half inside of the pot holder.  No holes in the pot.  Pot retains the original cotton wadding and the burner wick appears original with minimal wear. The red globe was made by Kopp and is and etched "I. C. R. R.".  No cracks or damage to the globe.
    This is a fine railroad lantern and shows extremely well.  Free shipping.  Thanks for looking!
