In 1972, photographer Masayoshi Sukita went to shoot the legendary rock group T-REX in London,
where he met David Bowie and accompanied him on his world tour the following year.
Since then, the relationship between the two has lasted for more than 40 years before Bowie passed away.
Bowie is a big Japanophile and has visited Kyoto several times.
One day in 1980, Sukuta spent a private time with Bowie in Kyoto,
which still remains in Sukita's heart.
At the age of 82, Sukita began filming Bowie's beloved Kyoto
in order to organize his own past time and remind him of his memories with Bowie.
