Vintage Silver Bit Horse Bridle Western. Condition is "Used".
Very used up and old western horse bridle with silver bit. The leather is old dirty dry and cracked.
The bit is scratched tarnished bent rusty and evidence of repair or poorly made. It appears to an iron base with carved silver added to the shanks and the slobber bar. The high port mouthpiece has a copper roller.
Has rusty slobber chains and the right one is broken and was tied in like a knot that I cannot get undone. The rein is a single red rope. No markings that I can find. I will not undo the big silver conchos on the headstall where the bit attaches because I probably can’t properly tie it back together. There are 3 small conchos on the browband, and 1 on the check piece. The other cheek piece concho is missing.
Coming to you straight from the tack room floor complete with horse dirt and barn smells. Not cleaned and silver is not polished. Probably best for collection or display.
